Christmas Morning 2008
This year, Nadia and CeCe really enjoyed opening their gifts. We really are thankful for all the gifts we received from family and friends near and far. Christmas Eve at our House
Tonight we had family and friends over to our home for a Christmas Eve Dinner. We had a great time, especially with the kids. Bill enjoyed doing drawing lessons with the kids. See more photos in our Christmas Eve 2008 Photo Album.

Thanksgiving at our House
Today we officially opened our newly renovated home to family and friends when we hosted Thanksgiving dinner. We had lots of help from some young folks in our family, especially Jade, Jeremiah and Damain. Thank you! Take a look at our Thanksgiving 2008 Photo Album.

Trick or Treat!
Today we had our first "hard core" Halloween with Nadia dressing up as a witch (her choice) and going trick or treating at Briers North Subdivision (sorta like the Disneyland of Halloween). Nadia's cousin, Brianna, dressed up like a ladybug and we went trick or treating with our neighbors, Todd & Corina and their two daughters, Alexandra & Rianne. View our Halloween 2008 Photo Album.

Nadia's First Day of School!
Today we reached a milestone when Nadia starting going to Northwoods Montessori School - We are so excited! View a few snapshots from her first trip to school in her First Day of School Album.

Congratulations, Decarlo!
Today we celebrated the graduation of our nephew, Decarlo Tatum, Jr., who graduated from Tech High in Atlanta. Take a look at our Photos from Decarlo's Graduation.

Family Day @ Dr. MLK Jr. National Historic Site
Today we went on the first of many planned family outings in Atlanta, visiting the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site. We had a great time visiting the museum, memorial to Dr. and Mrs. King, visiting the historic firehouse and Birth Home in the Sweet Auburn District of Downtown Atlanta. Christmas 2007
We spent Christmas Eve at St Mark UMC and with family at Rico's brother Ramondo's Home. A great time was had by all! On Christmas Day we stayed home and Nadia entertained us by playing the piano, singing and dancing. She even had her new baby doll play a song for us on the piano! Happy Thanksgiving 2007

Beach Vacation @ Tybee Island, Georgia
Recently, we took a family vacation with MEGA Family Project to Tybee Island, near Savannah, Georgia. This was Nadia's first experience at a beach, and she really enjoyed it! Lots of our friends attended this important weekend, where GLBTQ families from all over Georgia converged to share stories, get to know one another and have fun! Father's Day 2007 in Florida
After going to Walt Disney World we visited Mom & Dad Curtis for an early Father's Day. Nadia really enjoyed playing with Grandpa and Grandma, and the weather was lovely enough to enjoy much time outside. Check out our Flickr Photo Set to see photos from this visit.

Mother's Day in Florida with Grandma!
We went to visit Mom & Dad Curtis for Mother's Day in Central Florida. Nadia had a great time loving up with Grandma, and wishing her and her Aunt Patty a Happy Mother's Day!

"All I want for Christmas is...
... my first four teeth!" Nadia really enjoyed her Christmas this year, especially a gift from Grandma and Grandpa of a new Cabbage Patch Baby! She even knew how to feed the baby her bottle without coaching from Daddy and Papa! Check out our Flickr Photo Set for more photos.

Thanksgiving with Family at our House
We invited Rico's brother Ramondo and his sister Londa and their families to come to our house this year for Thanksgiving. We had a great time with all the family, especially the kids. Here's a Flickr Photo Set from the holiday.

Summer Vacation in Upstate New York!
In July, we went to Upstate New York to go to our Curtis Family Reunion and to see many other relatives and friends. This was Nadia's first plane ride, so we had lots of fun! I love my blanket from Aunt Jenny & Grandma!
One of the most special gifts Nadia got during the holidays was a lovely hand-knitted blanket and hat/bootie set from Aunt Jenny & Grandma! She uses the blanket everyday and loves it! We have tried getting pictures of the hat/booties, but usually these are on her when we are going places and a little frantic/sans camera. Thank you Aunt Jenny and Grandma!

The Best Christmas Gift Ever!
We were so blessed this Christmas to have the best gift under our tree: our beautiful little daughter whose smile melts our hearts. Daddy and Papa of course dressed her all up for her Christmas pose, and she was the feature on our holiday greeting card (what else would we have done this year?).

A Visit from Grandma & Grandpa Curtis!
Bill's Mom and Dad visited us for a special holiday season weekend at our home. They both had a great time meeting their newest grandchild (their sixth!), and we shared lots of good times and good food. Little Nadia is now wanting more time with her Grandma -- missing her holding and feeding her!

A Visit from a Special Great Aunt
Aunt Sally came over for a visit to meet our little princess this past weekend. Papa Bill and Daddy Rico were delighted to have her visit and she enjoyed holding and getting to know Baby Nadia. We were glad to share our joy with this special Aunt!
